No picture; sorry. But today, I saw the first butterfly of the year. It was a Morning Cloak flying around the edge of the woods next to the house. Sorry there’s no photo, Harpo!
Again, shot from my front door after shoveling for the 4th time in two days. Notice the differences between this photo and the last post; specifically the bird bath and the pile of snow in front of my Jeep.
Our most recent snowfall this past Tuesday night and Wednesday, 4-5 February. We received another 10 inches of snow, and just a little bit of freezing rain. This view is from my front door.
I was out taking pictures today (it got all the way up to 40 degrees), and stopped by the stream down the hill from my house. I like the patterns and shapes the flowing water makes in the ice. This is on the West Branch of Wallenpaupack Creek in Hamlin, PA. Taken with an Olympus E-1 and 40-150mm lens.
I have just started this blog, and am learning as I go. Hopefully, I will get organized and figure out what I’m doing quickly. Thanks to all for viewing this site.
